Someone, please post the Luxon and Kurzick skills. PLEASE! I don't want to have to farm that much faction just to see them.

The only reason why I was ok with the sunspear skills is that it's very easy to max, and it takes hardly any at all effort to get to spearmarshal, which is good enough for many of the skills.
Even with the updates to the faction titles, that's still an insane amount of grind to max. And they didn't even add all the faction we previously got on the account (and spent on amber), which would have at least got me to the first rank of the kurzick title... so I'm not happy.

Now they just need to add the option of using PvE only skills on heroes!

Wait, both sides have the SAME skills? That's a letdown. I mean, you'd figure they'd make "Archemorous's Might" and then something like "Viktor's Valor" to counter it...
Artwork seems to be slightly different though for both sides...

If you combine the elementalist Sunspear skill with the Luxon skill, you seem to get an insane damage boost.

looks like you can get 23 to elemental attributes now: 16 + 2 from glyph + 2 from elemental lord + 1 from golden egg + 1 from blessings + 1 from lunar fortunes + 1 from master of my domain
add the extra 25% damage from the sunspear skill. mobs go boom

I think this made mesmers even worse relative to the other classes. In particular, paragons can keep up -31% damage indefinitely (combine with they're on fire, not sure how it stacks but I think that will become way too strong) and elementalist nuking is stronger than ever. I guess I can't make too much judgment yet, since secondaries can use these skills. But I don't see any reason for anybody to play a mesmer primary. Dervishes got a great boost as well as assassins, but I think Dervishes will be the preferred melee class now.
On another note, my guess is that you will NOT be able to get into ANY pug without having these skills now.

So instead of sitting around for 30 seconds when the form ends, then using it again on the next mob, you get to skip the waiting time. Not that overpowered. I like it because it makes Avatar of Grenth a viable choice in PvE, which it definitely is not because of short duration and effect that is not that useful in PvE. With perma-duration, it could be pretty nice.

None of my characters have any Friend of the X - titles, so I guess no Luxon / Kurzick skills for me. Bah.
Oh, I tried to exchange one jadeite, since that also gives points towards the title... the lowest tier is 100,000? I think I'll just skip that. Sunspear skills look fun, though, and many characters should automatically have enough rank to find them useful just from playing the campaign.

In all honesty, the new skills are fun, the nerfs are as always un-needed. (give us something we need WITHOUT taking something we like. )
And might i ask why there STILL isn't a factions transfer NPC in the AB areas? It get's annoying having to travel to the GH all the time. /fistshake

grenth isnt too bad, but permanent balthazar or melandru or lyssa or dwayna are going to be horribly overpowered I think...
